Which college choice is better?

I am attending college in the fall and am currently enrolled into Arizona State. I am beginning to rethink if I want to go there because I am from Oregon and have to pay out of state tuition. With my chosen major I could also go to the University of Oregon which is a half an hour away from my home and a third of the tuition cost for ASU. I am conflicted with whether I should try a semester at ASU to see if I can handle the finances, heat, change, and distance from my family, or if I should withdraw from the school and wait till a semester and enroll into U of O which is much more affordable. I would like to attend ASU for the experience of a dorm room and being on my own but I am not sure if the high cost difference is worth it. What would you do in my situation? Any advice would be wonderful and appreciated.
