Is this guy unstable or dangerous?

I chatted with a guy on a dating site for a week, then met him for a drink last week. Kiss on cheek. He called me to meet again. I wasn't sure if I fancied him as more than a friend but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. So we met again last night. We went for a walk, then said he'd drive me home. I really didn't feel attracted to him so I said to him I could walk from the nearest junction, so he left me off there. Today I arrived home to find raw eggs thrown at my front door & windows. I'm scared. Isn't this a bit sinister? We are both single & in our 40s.
