Question for anyone who spells god "G-D" (as I just saw someone do)?

It is interesting that people give so much respect to heathen names, which Ex 23:13 tells us not to use. The name of the Almighty is YHVH, the name of the Savior is YAHOSHUA. To your question, it is an ancient superstition that through control of the name of a person, you can control that being. Pretty rediculous really.
